Table Top Games

This year we are pleased to bring back our tabletop game room. We will have various board and card games to play. Don't know how to play a certain game? Ask a staff member and they will be glad to help you learn or to play with you. Here is a partial list of the games we are bringing this year. Bringing a game not on the list is welcome, but we cannot be held responsible for it.

Card Tournaments - sponsored by Atlantis Games & Comics

Magic the Gathering Quickfire Tournament
Date: Friday June 14th
Registration: 5-6:45pm in the Tabletop Area
Event Time: 7-11pm
Entry Fee: $15
Format: Swiss Rounds
Event Type: Standard

It's a convention so we don't want to tie you to a Magic tournament all night. The quickfire tournament will be 4 swiss rounds with no top 4/top8. At the end of the 4 rounds we will award prizes based on a player's number of wins. The event will be sanctioned and we will have judges on staff to assist with rules questions. Prizes will be booster packs of a current set.

Prizes:
4 Wins = 10 Booster Packs
3 Wins = 4 Booster Packs

In the unlikely event that it's not possible to pair a 4th round due to excessive player drops we will award the prizes as follows:
3 Wins = 10 Booster Packs
2 Wins = 4 Booster Packs

Yugioh Quickfire Tournament
Date: Saturday June 15th
Registration: 1-2:45pm in the Tabletop Area
Event Time: 3-7pm
Entry Fee: $15
Format: Swiss Rounds
Event Type: Advanced

It's a convention so we don't want to tie you to a Yugioh tournament all day. The quickfire tournament will be 4 swiss rounds with no top 4/top8. Kaijudo Demo & Open Play
Date: Sunday June 16th
Event Time: 1-2pm in the Tabletop Area

Come out and participate in this no cost event. If you've never played Kaijudo come out and learn! Players learning the game for the first time will be taught how to play and will walk away with a free deck while supplies last. If you already know how to play then just stop by and get some games in and meet some new players. We'll have a few promo cards to give as well for experienced players who come out and play some games.

Pokemon Demo & Open Play
Date: Saturday June 15th
Event Time: Noon-1pm in the Tabletop Area

Come out and participate in this no cost event. If you've never played Pokemon come out and learn! Players learning the game for the first time will be taught how to play and will walk away with some promo items while supplies last. If you already know how to play then just stop by and get some games in and meet some new players. There might even be a giant robotic Pikachu with laser beam eyes. But there might not. You'll just have to come and see for yourself. (Anime Mid Atlantic & Atlantis Games & Comics are not responsible for injuries caused by giant robotic laser shooting Pokemon that may or may not exist)
