The cat girl that got away...

I was assigned to Video One in the Marriot Hotel on Friday morning. I had been sitting there for an hour or so, making a point to greet every person who walked by. You walked past wearing a white button up shirt, a skirt, and a pair of brown cat ears.

Me: "Good morning ma'am, how are you?"
Catgirl: "I'm ok, how are you?"
Me: "Better now that you're here."

That's when you smiled. That's when I knew I wanted to see you again.

I never got your name. It wasn't written on your badge. I tracked down a half dozen attendees that I had seen you with, and none of them knew your name either.

We small talked in the halls on Friday. We danced for hours on Saturday. I was busy with staff issues on Sunday, but caught up with you for a few minutes. You said you'd be a closing ceremonies. That was at 1:30 PM. That was the last time I saw you there. I spent some time looking for you before and after the ceremony, but I couldn't find you.

After the time we spent together, I would have liked to at least been able to put a name to such a pretty face.
